Corporate governance

Corporate governance is an important tool for continuously improving the governance of the regulated real estate company and for safeguarding the interests of shareholders. Vastned Belgium uses the Belgian Corporate Governance Code 2020 as its reference code and applies the Law of April 6, 2010 amending the Companies Code. Vastned Belgium's corporate governance principles have been laid down by the board of directors in a number of guidelines.

Deviations from the provisions of the Belgian Corporate Governance Code 2020 are only made when specific circumstances so require. In this case, the deviation is explained in accordance with the 'comply or explain' principle.
